Success with Bipolar Symptoms 

Last Christmas our son had just turned three years old and our daughter one. We had wonderful gifts under the tree and we were looking forward to playing with the new toys and celebrating Christmas with the kids. Unfortunately, our celebration came to an end very quickly. It was going to be another "bad" day for our son. This was not a Christmas to remember.

Sometime during that Christmas day; after the anger, after the tears, after the exhaustion from it all wore off, my husband and I resolved we would do something about our son's problem. We couldn't live like this. We didn't want the rest of our family life "ruined" because of his problem. We talked about things we haven't wanted to talk about. Maybe it's bipolar. Maybe we should try to find a psychologist.

For the next couple of months, I research childhood bipolar. I was dismayed because a lot of the symptoms sounded like our son. I started looking for a psychologist that had experience with bipolar. The search proved difficult. The doctors with experience in our area were not taking new patients. I didn't want him seeing a psychologist at his age, but we needed help.

I talked about it with a good friend. She told me to keep praying and keep searching for an answer and it will all work out. I asked her to pray for us. A couple of days later, I met a lady at the park, she told me about NAET and Debra MacIntyre.

Both of our children suffered from colic and were not "easy" babies. I knew my son's behavior and physical symptoms were being impacted by food, but none of the doctors we had visited could detect allergies. We were told he would probably outgrow it. The physical symptoms seemed to lesson with age, but the behavior got worse. We were able to figure out a few foods we knew he couldn't handle by tacking his diet, but there were still a lot of things we couldn't identify. I kept saying, "if I could just figure out what he's allergic to…" I never dreamed we could detect and eliminate his allergy!

Thanks to a mom willing to talk about alternative medicine, NAET and Debra MacIntyre, we are figuring it out. We saw a dramatic improvement with out son within 10 treatments. He is a happier child and we are a happier family. We still have "bad" days, but they happen rarely instead of regularly. We are now on the family treatment plan. We are all receiving NAET treatments and getting healthier. My children and I always suffered from colds that turned into bronchitis and ear infections with antibiotics and a lot of sleepless nights. Now they rarely get a cold and, if they do, it's usually only a sore throat and runny nose for a couple of days. It's been wonderful!

I prayed often for a miracle to heal my children from their allergies. It wasn't the instant miracle I was hoping for, but it has definitely been an answered prayer. It's been almost a year since we started my son's treatments, now I pray for patience to see us through the treatments for ADD/ADHD and mental disorders. I pray their patents will find out about NAET and will give it a try.

Our Christmas morning this year was the stuff of dreams for parents with little kids. Squeals of joy, faces full of smiles and wonder; and most importantly, time to celebrate the joy of Christmas.
