Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Health care flexible spending accounts are employer-established benefit plans that
reimburse employees for specified medical expenses as they are incurred. The employee
contributes funds to the account through a salary reduction agreement and is able to
withdraw the funds set aside to pay for medical bills. The salary reduction agreement
means that any funds set aside in a flexible spending account escape both income tax and
Social Security tax. By law, the employee forfeits any unspent funds in the account at the
end of the year.

Health Savings Account (HSA)
A Health Savings Account is a tax-favored savings account combined with a qualifying
high-deductible health insurance plan. By allowing you to deposit tax-deductible funds into
an account that you can use to cover medical costs, HSAs enable you to take control of your
own health care decisions. Savings are rolled over every year and are portable, regardless
of employment status.

HSA may cover the following type of expenses:

Physical therapy. This could include our chiropractor services.

Alternative treatments. This could include our acupuncture, homeopathy, Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM), Allergy treatments and nutritional consulting by our Practitioners.

Charges incurred as part of a preventive health program.
